Atheist Kids

I've heard that all kids are atheists until they have been indoctrinated otherwise. But apparently humans have the same tendency as the monkey who looks behind the mirror for another monkey. Humans assume another being is responsible for phenomena that is beyond existing comprehension. All phenomena that was previously beyond existing comprehension was then attributed to a "God" or "gods." Now such phenomena is recognized as merely natural phenomena. Volcanoes, floods, disease, and earth-quakes are four examples.
